Synopsis
Harassed by yet another defeat that condemns him to a life without a happy ending, the Big Bad Wolf decides to call it quits and declare a severe protest strike. Upon hearing that the baddest of the bad is finally out of the picture, the King proclaims great celebrations throughout the fairy tale kingdom. Soon, however, as the Wolf’s strike drags on, the fairy tale world realises that – incredible as it may seem – without that big bad wolf and his wickedness, not everything goes smoothly, so much so that the King finds himself, despite himself, trying every possible trick to get the Big Bad Wolf to finally return to work…
Born from a dramaturgical game, the show is a fun take on the world of fairy tales. A somewhat Rodarian reversal to reflect on how, after all, even villains serve a purpose and how what frightens us can teach us to defend ourselves and get to know ourselves better.
