Synopsis
Young and old spectators alike encounter, as if by chance, a forest dweller, keeper of ancient myths and legends, desperately searching for Arborea, Gaia’s lost daughter: time is running out, Mother Earth is consumed by grief, expressing her wrath with violent storms or letting herself die without even touching a drop of water.
Thus begins the journey, a path of initiation divided into stages linked to the natural elements, in which the spectators on the journey become an active and integral part of the creative process. The dramaturgy follows the structure of a fairy tale, with the children, like the hero, undergoing three trials: water, air and fire.
The actress’s body moves, opening up the space and inviting the audience to follow her, while the words in verse evoke poetic worlds and myths, which in turn recall contemporary suggestions. The dialogue with the audience is continuous and direct.
