Synopsis
Timo and Lilia are brother and sister, twins, to be precise, born one minute apart.
They suffer from this unexpected “being two” and decide that, in order to live peacefully, it is necessary to separate everything: beds, colours, objects, thoughts. Everything is divided in half and no one ever enters the other’s space.
One on one side and one on the other! After the death of their parents, the twins live with their aunt, an elderly but sprightly woman, always rushing around and scolding, grumpy, a little crazy, but ultimately loving.
One day, the aunt unexpectedly decides to leave for India and entrusts Timo and Lilia with a very special pot: under the soil, in the warmth, for years, lies a seed, just one, planted by their parents before the two were born.
That seed needs a lot of care to grow: it will be up to Timo and Lilia to take care of it, together, in the hope that one day the plant will actually sprout. To complicate matters, there are three very strange rules: the seed must never be left alone, the pot must not be moved from where their aunt left it (on the border between Timo’s space and Lilia’s space) and, above all, no one is allowed to argue in front of the seed. This is the beginning of a new fairy tale, which talks about care, about everything that is fragile, about hope, about the future and, as always, a little bit about love.
